The Viet Nam Computer Emergency Response Centre (VNCERT) hosted the 2018 ASEAN-Japan Information Security Drillin Ha Noi, central Da Nang and HCM City on Wednesday.
Over a quarter of businesses that have been hit by a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks do not think they were the intended target, showing that businesses cannot afford to be complacent when it comes to today’s threat landscape.
Experts from Bkav, a leading Vietnamese Internet security company, have
said that spyware, malware and DDoS (distributed denial of service)
attacks will continue to pose major risks in 2014.
Spyware had been targeting Vietnamese state agency websites for the
past year, but the country did not have the cybersecurity experts to
cope with the attacks.
